Modern construction using higher levels of thermal insulation requires increased levels of ventilation within the building fabric to prevent the build-up of moisture and condensation.
The Airbrick has an airflow of 6,000mm² and should be installed at a maximum of 2m centres. To provide a greater airflow it is possible to clip together a number of vents in a vertical stack. The Airbrick should be used in combination with one of the cavity sleeves illustrated to provide through wall ventilation.
